Summary:
Our client, a global innovative technology company is seeking a Systems Engineer for its IT department. This Systems Engineer will work on a contract basis and will be responsible to research, test and implement new solutions while maintaining the current platforms we support.
Managers Notes:
The profile of the person I am looking for is exactly like Seth Alton who we just hired but I need someone who has strong Mobile Infrastructure experience. We are currently using Microsoft InTune as our MAM (Mobile Application Management) and MDM (Mobile Device Management) solution so someone what that experience is a home run.
This person will work on a new Mobile Infrastructure project which will require this person to have experience with the back end technology.setting up and configuring the policies, not just configuring the devices.
I can consider someone without the InTune experience but they would need to have strong experience with another MDM solution such as AirWatch.
Overall I am looking for a driven, innovative, and motivated person to engage on projects and work closely with the team.
I am looking for someone who enjoys taking ownership of their work and is someone who wants to think about and design new infrastructure solutions and wants to introduce new technology ideas.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
1. 5 to 7 years of related technical experience
2. Strong experience with Mobile Infrastructure – ideally Microsoft InTune
3. Proficiency in Office 365 and all Microsoft Collaboration tools including Skype for Business
4. Proficiency in Active Directory Azure and group policies
5. Knowledge of SCCM, MDT or InTune for endpoint management
6. Knowledge of Mobile technologies, MDM, Apple, Android
7. Experience managing Apple devices including MACs
8. Experience with imaging, configuring and scripting Windows 10
9. Powershell skills required
The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:
1. Support the Agile team in all aspects
2. Troubleshoot and automate tasks
3. Bring impediments to the service manager that are raised by teams
4. Working with third party service providers and vendors to ensure the right resources, tools and platform capabilities are available
5. Provide third level support
