The main function of a Systems Engineer is to perform a wide variety of installation, configuration and upgrading of servers and related hardware and software in a LAN, WAN and stand-alone environment, providing investigation, diagnostic testing and repair/resolution of system, hardware, software and infrastructure.
Job Responsibilities:
Complete configuration, installation and support of equipment to the specifications of the business. Maintain software applications and operating systems through regular maintenance. Manage assigned projects and program components to deliver services in accordance with established objectives. Supervise the administration of systems and servers to ensure availability of services to authorized users. Maintain multi-site network operations, software applications, operating systems through regular maintenance.
Qualifications: Bachelor''s degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required. 8 to 10 years experience required. Broad knowledge of IT Systems engineering. Experience with system capacity and planning, as well as functional configuration and audit. Experience with system planning and capacity tools and analyses.
Primary Skills
Leads and provides functional and technical support, handle complex incident management and execute controls and monitoring of production flow in very fast-paced environment.
Excellent RedHat AMQ and RedHat QDR experience.
Patching, configuration, and technical systems/application administration.
Very strong with RedHat AMQ and QDR (Apache ActiveMQ, Qpid, and Camel
Strong middleware troubleshooting and JVM performance tuning skills for RedHat Fuse Middleware.
Experience with Unix/Linux and Oracle/MSSQL/DB2 databases.
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and problem solving abilities; including Root Cause Analysis and permanent fix.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Engineering experience with WS-Security, SOA Governance, Web Service Management tools.
Experience in using OEM cloud control to manage and monitor middleware components.
Experience with automation frameworks, scripting languages, and test tools, including SoapUI, Postman, Selenium.
Minor enhancements and development for on RedHat integration platform.
