This position contributes to clients success by delivering and supporting technology solutions in support of technology initiatives. As a systems analyst sr - Starbucks Siren Retail Technology, you will identify, design, and deploy technology and process solutions establishing key business capabilities enabling the realization of strategic initiatives and operational improvements. This role requires proficiency in requirements analysis, solution design, and process improvement coupled with the ability to collaborate effectively across various IT and business functions. In addition to delivering new technology and enhancing/supporting existing systems, an effective systems analyst sr. contributes relevant technical, functional, and process expertise, negotiates and drives alignment, and coaches/mentors less-experienced analysts.
Gathers, and documents business requirements to support the design and development of technology and/or process solutions. Leverages relevant processes, technology, and subject matter experts to propose appropriate solution options. Clearly communicates issue resolution. Performs application maintenance and system configuration in support of solution delivery initiatives. 5-7 years.
This position is staff augmentation on the Culinary Technology team to support market expansion for the Princi kitchens, retail stores, and bakeries domestically and internationally.
What does a typical work day entail? What are the daily tasks/responsibilities/deliverables?
The role supports the design and building including configuration, integration, and implementation of culinary technologies from vendor ordering, recipe management, food cost management, production planning, inventory management, commissary ordering, and financial reporting.
Responsibilities:
Key contributor in assessing food production, manufacturing, packaging, and distribution technology solutions through a rigorous and logical approach to solving business opportunities
Evaluate and manage SaaS based vendors that specialize in providing application solutions that best fix business objectives and technology capabilities
Produce documentation to support project delivery and ongoing enhancements by defining functional and technical specifications, data flow diagrams, test requirements traceability matrices
Evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, and distinguish user requests from the underlying business needs
Facilitate and lead when needed, interacting directly across business and technology teams to assess requirements and align on objectives
Deliver functional and technical analysis and designs, system and application performance measurements, and business operational process improvements
Support the creation and execution of test scripts to ensure the functional requirements have been met
Support the adoption of the solutions through system and integration testing, user acceptance testing, deployment activities, stabilization and sustainment tasks, incident response and problem resolution
Communicate status, risks, and issues to program and project managers
Required:
Have 5+ years of experience working as a business, systems or technical analyst with experience in the analysis, design, verification and deployment phases of software application implementation life cycles
A Bachelor''s degree in Information Technology or another related technical field, or relevant experience
Experience in designing and delivering food preparation, production, manufacturing, packaging, and distribution technology solutions solving business challenges
Have a strong ability to analyze business and systems requirements and identify information systems integration points
A strong technical acumen to understand detailed functional requirements and translate them into technical specifications
Experience recognizing scope limitations and raising potential scope issues, while supporting the best technical solution design and approach
Passionate about staying up-to-date with and ahead of the latest technologies
Experience working in an Agile delivery environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Skills as a quick starter and willing to learn independently
Ability to travel domestically and internationally
