Systems Analyst/Developer for MEDM
Candidates for this position will Implement and enhance Markit EDM. The candidate will develop Market EDM components and GUI, perform technical analysis/design, data integration, data conversion, and automation of integrations using Autosys and testing. Markit EDM is an application framework used by investment companies to manage their security master data. The security master is information about stocks, bonds and other investments managed by Janus.
Duties include:
Define requirements with business partners.
Design and implement appropriate solutions.
Craft and enhance operational workflows with Autosys and MEDM solutions.
Configure and automate Markit EDM.
Build and update MEDM GUI
Provide work estimates
Communicate status.
Specify technical requirements and conduct hands on integration work
Assist clients in the data conversion and reconciliation
Unit testing and assist in end-to-end testing and defect resolution
Investigates and resolves production support incidents, including research of MEDM data-related questions from business partners.
Qualifications
Required:
Strong communication skills
Ability to be self-directed and work independently
Ability to meet deadlines
English fluency, with strong written and spoken communication skills
8+ years as a developer
3+ years’ experience MEDM
Any experience with job scheduling and run books
Experience working at a Buy Side investment management institution or a vendor and investments data
