JOB SUMMARY
The Systems Administrator is responsible for performing problem analysis and providing server administration as well as desktop support to end-users for both hardware and software issues.
Administer file, Active Directory, print, Exchange and other Windows servers
Provide Help Desk end user client support to identify, analyze, resolve and document technical and training problems
Log all Helpdesk requests
Debug desktop hardware and software issues
Repair and/or replace desktop/laptop/terminal hardware and printer components as necessary
Perform security permission changes/additions/deletions for all platforms
Perform new, change, and termination activities for employees and contractors
Provide assistance to the Manager of Infrastructure as directed
Automate tasks throughout the company as needed
Conduct training (electronic or oral) for end users as required
Maintain required support logs
Create new images of desktop/laptop/terminal configurations.
Configure desktop/laptop/terminal workstations.
Install and upgrade software applications and hardware.
Perform backups and restores of the network
Handle third party support calls for servers and network equipment
Document procedures and techniques in a professional manner for disaster recovery.
Demonstrate regular and consistent attendance and punctuality
Perform other work-related duties as assigned
Coordinate facilities management activities including video security, alarm system, and environmental controls impacting server areas
Access ePHI following the current guidelines as established at the company-wide and department levels

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
This position requires a minimum of five years of IT Systems Administration experience. A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university is preferred. Certifications are a plus. Must be able to demonstrate the following:

Strong troubleshooting skills
Experience with Active Directory, Domain Management, Web and Data technologies
Working technical knowledge of access control technologies
Strong understanding of IP, TCP/IP, and other network administration protocols
Strong understanding of Windows network and desktop operating systems
Familiarity with Unix/Linux scripting and management
Good interpersonal and oral communication skills
Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
Strong problem-solving experience with Windows applications.
Experience with Microsoft Server technologies including IIS, SharePoint, Exchange, SQL, and Office 365
Working knowledge of the following technologies is preferred:
Security; Web, DMZ, FTP, and Edge
External DNS Management
SSL Certificate Management
Internet and MPLS Monitoring and Management
Virtualization using VMware
Storage Area Network
Voice over IP
