Must have skills:
Windows – Installation, Administration, Troubleshooting of Operating System and Active Directory Services, DNS.
Virtualization – Installation, Configuration, Resource Tuning, and Troubleshooting of Vmware, vCloud suite.
Compute – Installation and configuration Blades and Stand-alone servers.
Basic or Medium level understanding of Storage & SAN – Installation, and Configuration of Enterprise Arrays (3PAR,SAN) and Storage Switches/Directors.
Good to Have
VCP& Windows certification.
Intermediate SQL skills (Oracle, DB2, MYSQL or MS SQL
Experience in working with global teams across boundaries.
Education and Experience
Minimum 4-8 years’ experience Knowledge and Skills
Minimum 4+ years’ experience working in a Heterogeneous Compute Infrastructure – with Enterprise Servers (HP Preferred), in a Physical, Virtual and Hybrid Environment.
4+ Years of experience in Windows & in depth knowledge of configuration management, Troubleshooting of Windows operating systems.
3+ Years of experience with Virtualization Technology (VMware, Hyper-V
Scripting Knowledge (Power-shell, PowerCLI
Strong knowledge on DNS, Active Directory integration, Web Services (IIS), Certification.
Strong communication skills catered to a wide variety of audience (e.g. written, verbal, presentations) mastery in English and local language.
Advanced multi-tasking and prioritization skills.
Relationship management skills, including partnering and consulting.
