Job Posting Title: Systems Administrator - III

Description: Participate in OS patch management and coordination. Develop and test Windows security patch packages. Troubleshoot Windows OS and Microsoft application security patch installations. Participate in technical on-call rotation Ongoing maintenance & administration of assigned systems. Adherence to policies, processes and procedures within your areas of responsibility. Assistance with execution of projects related to areas of responsibility Participate in 24X7 system administration and resolve distributed server issues. Root cause analysis. Assist with maintaining compliance for industry certifications such as PCI Create and maintain reports for patch compliance and system audit data. Participate in ongoing operational projects. Provide recommendations for system automation. Troubleshoot hardware and software issues as they arise. Document issues and associated resolutions to problems

Responding to requests for IT assistance that have been filtered by the Tier 2 (Field Operations staff)
for resolution. You will be involved in supporting approx. 10000 users in a heterogeneous environment
of OSX/Windows and Mobile Devices. As a Windows Patch Management Engineer your objective is
to develop and implement patch management methodologies and best practices using various
automation toolsets.

Responsibilities include:

Document issues and associated resolutions to problems.
Participate in OS patch management and coordination.
Develop and test Windows security patch packages.
Troubleshoot Windows OS and Microsoft application security patch installations.
Participate in technical on-call rotation
Ongoing maintenance & administration of assigned systems.

ROLE SPECIFICATION

Required Experience:

Proven customer service experience
Previous deep-level troubleshooting experience in an IT environment
Executive support experience
Strong communication skills (verbal /written)
Strong organizational, prioritization and decision making skills
Experience with desktop imaging software
Experience with PPTP/VPN/RSA security
In depth knowledge in supporting the Security and Vulnerability Patching Lifecycle
o Vendor awareness of patch cycles (e.g. MS Patch Tuesday s etc)
o Demonstrated responsibility and experience in large enterprise oversight and
remediation efforts

Administration experience of Autonomic Software Endpoint Manager
o Whitelist/Blacklisting
o Inventory Analysis
o Agent installation/deployment and removal
o License management
o ePO Integration
Awareness of Tivoli Endpoint Management System (BigFix)
o Relevance scripting language mandatory
o Tivoli (client) reporting and data analysis
o Agent installation/deployment and removal
Product closed-loop feedback into Development organization on product performance and
supportability

Desired experience:

Scripting with view to automate manual tasks
Large scale deployment experience
Process compliance
Knowledge of the ITIL Framework.
Windows 2008-2012 Server support experience
