Systems Administrator Contract

Atlanta, GA

A Systems Administrator of Messaging and Directory Services provides support to customers across the enterprise for a variety of issues.

Responsibilities

The proper candidate for this position will possess the skills necessary to provide support in creating distribution lists, shared mailboxes, modifying permissions and general troubleshooting in a multi-tenant Office 365 environment.
Candidates will work from a ticketing system to field requests, and communicate with customers directly.

Candidates will possess above-average communication skills, both written, and verbal.

The proper candidate will possess the ability to communicate with non-technical professionals to work through technical issues.

In addition to customer support, the candidate will participate in projects that drive business value and increase efficiencies, while ensuring the availability, reliability, and optimal performance of existing systems and services.

Required Experience

1-2 years of Exchange experience in an O365 environment

1-2 years of experience administering Lync Online/Skype for Business

2-3 years of end-user support in a fast-paced environment

2+ years of experience on technology infrastructure teams


Required Competencies/Skills

Strong problem solving, decision making, planning/ organizing and communication skills required.

Ability to manage pressure while maintaining attention to detail.

Candidates must also have functional and technical expertise, adaptability and flexibility, be customer focused, and work well in teams.
