Job Title: System/Network Administrator
Location: Sunnyvale, CA
Duration: 6+Months
Job Description:
Client urgently requires L2/L3 Network/System Admin (6 months) who should be capable of do bit of everything.
Skills Needed:
Networking Background including Switch/Router configuration and troubleshooting - Juniper Switches/Routers platform preferred. L2/L3 in-depth knowledge required.
Linux System Administration - OS Installation and troubleshooting. Knowledge of DNS/DHCP/NIS Services.
Knowledge of Network Cabling/Patch Panel involving DAC/Fiber/Cat5 cables.
Remote Server Monitoring/Management through IPMI/ILO/Terminal Server (Digi/Avocent
Experience with Server virtualization (ESXi, KVM)
Hands-on experience with TCP/IP networking, including Ethernet, IP addressing & subnetting, routing, iptables, and network troubleshooting
Basic knowledge of NetApp Storage.
Racking/Cabling new Servers/Network hardware and Inventory management through Internal Juniper Tool.
Collaborate and manages relationship with vendors.
Assist in Purchasing and Procuring Server Hardware/Cables other peripherals.
Storage Room housekeeping to maintain inventory of all Servers/Network hardware, Cables, PDU (Power Distribution unit) and other peripherals.
Working with Engineers on creating new network Topology in the Lab to recreate Customer environment.

Ability to communicate effectively and clearly with technical and non-technical users utilizing strong customer service skills.
Ability to write policies, procedures, spreadsheets, reports and correspondence.
Ability to speak effectively before employees of the organization.
