Barrister Global Services Network Inc. is currently looking for a motivated, highly detailed, organized and outgoing individual to support one of our major nationwide clients. The successful applicant should be able to quickly adapt their knowledge to the current IT environment and be able to enhance the current systems in place. They should also possess excellent verbal and written communication skills so as to be understood by technical and non-technical personnel.
Job Summary:
Full Life Cycle of airline Crew applications. (e.g. analysis, design, coding, testing and implementation and some production support
Will be responsible for Crew area involving MQ Series queues and related programs.
Will be responsible for Coordination monthly outages and participating in validations once complete.
Requirements:
3+ years expertise: Cobol, IMS DB, DC, JCL, TSO/ISPF, MQ Series
Application programming total life cycle expertise
Strong communication skills, verbal and written
Ability to obtain client requirements and turn them into applications
Support of applications providing 24X7 coverage
Airline Domain Knowledge specifically Crew Management
Resource should be familiar with working with union business rules
