Job Description:
Represent broad expertise in domain team in technical design and estimating sessions with internal and external IT customers
Provide support for and create logical and physical design
Analyze and recommend changes to improve efficiency, lower costs, and enhance quality of business applications
Establish design patterns used within domain
Serve as thought leader and final decision maker able to drive team to conclusions regarding technical solutions
Other duties as assigned
Essential Skills:
Expert knowledge of DB2 on IBM i operating system and related products
10+ years of senior level experience with IBM i, iSeries, or AS/400
Working knowledge of IBM iDoctor, IBM performance navigator, visual explain
Expert knowledge in analysis, design and troubleshooting of system and application performance
Understanding of logical and disk based replication technologies
Desirable Skills:
Experience working in healthcare, PBM, specialty pharmacy, or health care consulting in a related capacity.
Power HA, MQ series understanding , Linux, SAN understanding
Troubleshooting experience
