Job Description :
Contract (6 months - probable extension or Contract to Hire)
exciting opening in Knoxville, TN for a Sr. Systems Engineer who has experience with both Windows and Linux RHEL and expertise with VMware. In this role, you will work in a large, enterprise environment (over 2000 VMs) and be responsible for server build / decommissioning.
Required Skills & Experience:
5+ years of experience in Server Administration and Engineer
Must have a blend of experience with Windows Server Systems (2003/2008/2012/2016) and Linux RHEL
Patch Management experience required; automation prefered
VMware ESXI expertise required
Strong knowledge of Windows services required (AD, GPO, DNS, DHCP)
Scripting experience - PowerShell, Bash, etc
