Position Details:
Job Title: System Deployment Engineer
Location: Lexington Kentucky
Mode: Contract

This is a System Deployment Automation Engineer position.

Past experience and required skills:

Must Have:
3-5 years'' experience with packaging, deploying and automating deployments in Microsoft/.net Windows environments.
Powershell scripting, Windows scripting, working knowledge of IIS, SQL Server.
Troubleshooting systems issues in Windows/IIS/MS SQL Server.
Working Knowledge of API testing tools like SoapUI and ReadyAPI.

Nice to have:
Experience working with Cloud deployments
Understanding of SQL Server Reporting Services, Integration Services, SQL Jobs
Online/Mobile Banking Domain knowledge
Microsoft certification - Installing and Configuring Windows Server 2012
Understanding of Deployment Automation tools like Jenkins
Environment Knowledge: Windows 20012, IIS, DNS, TCP/IP, DHCP, DMZ, SAN, Web, Virtualization, Windows Clustering, Network Load Balancing, General Network Infrastructure

Job Responsibilities and accountabilities:
Responsible for packaging of .net applications, and vendor packages for deployments in environments.
Responsible of deployment and troubleshooting and monitoring of windows based application server environments.
Work closely with development and QA team to help resolve environment and application deployment issues.
Install, configure, upgrade, administer business applications/systems of moderate to high complexity in co-ordination with appropriate stakeholders
Work is performed under minimal management supervision
May develop scripts using appropriate tools to address gaps in the application/system, to simplify and enhance the application/system environment and deployments
Performs problem determination including data gathering and analysis
Provide technical support to business and operations teams
Knowledge transfer within group.
Ensure required documentation is housed in the respective repository and that knowledge transfer has occurred to full time staff upon completion of contract term.
