For the System Administrator IT we''re looking for the below skills:
Must have: Windows Server 2003 to 2016, Windows 7 and greater, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, VMware beginner (clone and setup)

Nice to have, end user support rather than backend: Azure, VMware AirWatch, Exchange 2010 and greater, BitLocker, and SharePoint 2007 and greater

Job Purpose:
In this role, the System Administrator will be responsible for the installation of new software releases, system upgrades, evaluates and installs patches and resolves software related problems. This position requires high level of accountability, reliability and availability.

Essential Functions:
The following statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed and are not to be construed as an exhaustive list of all responsibilities.

-Install new software releases, system upgrades, evaluates and installs patches and resolves software related problems
-Performs system backups and recovery
-Enable VPN access and disable unauthorized device access
-Review event logs to find errors and security breaches before they materialize into problems
-Review data usage
-View daily activity of all units and any active alerts
-Manage users in Active Directory, set up new users, disable terminated users, back up and verify data from terminated users emails and computers
-Delete disabled profiles after backup and reset user passwords
-Maintains data files and monitors system configuration to ensure data integrity
-Ensures that the system and network infrastructure is up and running
-Monitor system activities and fine tune system to optimize performance
-Performs analysis to ensure system compliance with best practices and security guidelines
-Develop and implement preventive maintenance processes
-Provide on call support 24x7 to operations teams
-Apply OS patches, updates and configuration changes
-Install and configure new hardware and software
-Troubleshoot system and network infrastructure problems
-Provide investigation, root cause analysis, and problem resolution
-Maintain operations such as planned event while upgrading and patching solutions (integration)
-Develop system tools/scripts for activities automation
-Deployment and usage of infrastructure management and monitoring tools
-Keep system and infrastructure management and monitoring tools
-Keep system and infrastructure environments documentation up to date
-Follow up escalated tickets
-Back up help desk support and provide overflow support
-Provides technical support and guidance to users
-Conduct training sessions for new and established users on the operational aspects of server computer technology and changes to software
-Assist with budget planning for purchasing, upgrading and maintaining multi-user computer network
-Helps create and maintain a disaster recovery plan
Other general IT duties as assigned

Travel:
-Occasional travel between other MHMR of Tarrant County worksites and offsite seminars.

Knowledge of Laws, Policies/Procedures, Skills and Abilities:
-Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures in the system administration field
-Extensive experience with MS Windows servers products and active directory, MS Exchange and MS SQL
-Virtualization VMWare solutions
-Centralized user management solutions
-Networking solutions routers, switches and firewalls
-Enterprise Storage solution and management
-Backup solutions
-Thorough knowledge of performing typical advanced server and network administration skills, including upgrades and maintenance of software and operating networks, LAN/WAN, DNS, TCPIP, WINS, DHCP and IIS support function
-Knowledge and experience in network terminal server, bridges and operational devices of associated specialized hardware and software
-Administering access rights and maintaining database performance
-Demonstrated knowledge in user administration, firewall and router configuration, MS office support, Server 2003, 2008, 2008R2, Windows XP, Windows 2007, UNIX, Cisco switches, Cisco routers, Juniper environments, -Virtual environments, VMWare, ESX
-Strong working experience with HP, Compaq, and Dell enterprises servers
Patch management systems
-Resolving higher level of help desk issues
-Knowledge and experience in connectivity and communications protocol a plus
-Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
-Ability to maintain confidentiality
-Ability to work alone and within a team environment and cooperatively with all levels of staff
-Vendor relations experience
-Strong analytical and organizational skills
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers
-Ability to use general office equipment to include overhead projector
-Regular and predictable attendance is required

Required Education:
-Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

Testing Requirements:
-Pre-employment tests including drug and TB Screening, Physical Exam including balance and lift test.
