System Administrator

Overview:
? Handle day to day IT operational ticket and queue triage of Global SCM Support team directly supporting Frostbite, EADP, and WWCE Perforce and Git-based instances
.? Act as L3 escalation point supporting L2 Site IT and DRE/Studio based SCM Administrators.
? Identify, configure and deploy enhancements and bug fixes as required to existing SCM and Hailstorm environments.
? Configure and troubleshoot Hailstorm and Perforce Swarm HTTP/REST/JSON integrations with build/release and game teams.
? Deploy, maintain and configure SCM and Hailstorm server templates.
? Maintain online configuration files to add/modify/remove Hailstorm VM routing.
? Implement and maintain scripts using bash, python, powershell to implement automating admin and system tasks.
? Monitor, maintain, and act on IT monitoring variances or triggered notifications using global monitoring and Hailstorm Datadog monitoring services.
? Process and handle user/team requests for access, permissions, groups, and configuration.
? Maintain and monitor server back-ups, redundancy, and system capacity.
? Create, maintain and deploy configuration management scripts and recipes.
? Collaborate and assist IT Ops Technical Leads with service improvements as required.
? Adopt formal ITIL processes such as Incident, Change and Problem Management.
? Keep up with trends and relevant technologies by attending conferences, webinars, and working training sessions that focus on professional development and IT operations.

Essential Skills

? Certification Tracks: RCHE/Linux, MCITP, MCSE, CompTIA, AWS, VMWare,.etc.
? Experience with Perforce SDP and/or HMS managed environments.
? Experience working with Gitlab 8.x+ and Git LFS.
? Experience with Amazon Web Services & VMware Virtualization
? Experience with administration in a virtual studio environment.
? Experience deploying and maintaining Gitlab 8.x and later.
? Experience deploying and maintaining Git Fusion 15.x+ and Gitswarm 2016.x+ and later.
? Experience with Git Connector 17.x and Perforce Graph depot.

Required Technical skills:

? 3+ years experience administering distributed Perforce Servers in a Commit/Edge, Replica, and Proxy environment.
? 3+ years experience creating and debugging scripts using python, bash, or powershell.
? 3+ years experience with basic Linux and Windows Server administration.
? 3+ years experience with basic Windows client desktop support.
? 3+ years experience working with VMware on-premise virtualized and/or cloud based environments (AWS / Google Cloud / Azure.etc
? Ability to independently diagnose and solve problems with SCM-based services.
? Experience with configuring and troubleshooting HTTP/REST/JSON based services.
? Experience with deploying Perforce Streams and troubleshooting Integrations.
? Experience with configuration management: Chef, Puppet, or Ansible.etc.
? Strong understanding of IT service based protocols: TCP/IP, DNS, SSH/SSL, AD/LDAP.etc.
? Strong understanding of large scale distributed computing and storage environments.
