Job Summary: The System Administrator is responsible for assisting in the development of SAP Business One relational databases and compatible mobile service and online order systems. In addition, this individual will be responsible for provisioning, installation, configuring, operating, and maintaining the computer and network hardware, software, and related infrastructure. The System Administrator will participate in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the I.T. Department. This individual will ensure that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational standards. This position will serve as advanced support for the company’s technical support center.
Primary Duties:
The System Administrator is accountable for assisting in the development of SAP Business One systems, VMware hosts, Windows 2008 & 2012 servers, and MS Office 365. Responsibilities on these systems include provisioning, operations and support, end-user training, maintenance and research, and development. Additional Information Technology related projects will be managed by this position.
Systems Provisioning:
Configure the SAP data bases and exporting data from legacy Jerry Pate Company systems. Install new, rebuild existing, and provide routine maintenance for desktop computers, laptops, servers, and mobile devices. Configure hardware and peripherals. Manage information services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements.
Operations:
Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems, and key processes. Review system and application logs, and verify completion of scheduled jobs such as backups. Create, update, and delete user accounts per request.
Maintenance:
Apply Operating System patches and upgrades on a regular basis and upgrade administrative tools and utilities. Configure and add new services as necessary.

· Experience in the installation and management of SAP Business One, or other SAP business platforms.
· Five years of successful performance in Information Technology or similar experience.
· Technical skills and proficiencies to include: Windows 10 Pro, Windows 2008/2012 R2, Microsoft Office 365.
· Proficient use and troubleshooting abilities in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
· Experience in planning processes, sales and workload planning, expense budget management.
· Possess ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
· Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or an equivalent combination of education and technical/professional experience.
· Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, organization, and time-management skills.
· Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
