Locations: Westlake Village, CA
Term: 6 -12months plus
Interview Mode: Phone / Skype
Must be on our W2.
Must be willing to work local or relocate to site on the candidate's dime.
Position Summary & Key Areas of Responsibility
Shift: 11:30am-10:30pm PST
Provide technical support for both system and application issues
Monitor Dashboards, respond to alerting and manage queue of ticket based work on behalf of financial institutions and retailer establishments
Experience in one or more operating systems such as Microsoft Administration and/or Linux Administration
Understanding of networking concepts such as DNS, DHCP, Email, HTTP, SSL, and TCP/IP
Troubleshooting skills in a multi-user high pressure environment
Process enhancement • Willingness to work flexible shifts and scheduling including nights, weekends, and holidays
Manage communications, respond to phone calls from, third party vendors, data processing vendors and financial institutions.
Qualifications
BS in Computer Science or related field
4+ years related experience
Windows, Linux or other Unix experience
Monitoring tools setup and configuration
Troubleshooting production issues
System Admin exposure
Expertise in managing middle tier and app tier.
Scripting expertise - Perl, Python, Powershell
