Sybase DBA
Location : Irving, TX
Duration : Long-term W2 Contract
Key Responsibilities and Technology Experience:
Minimum 7 years’ experience as a production Sybase DBA
Familiarity with Sybase directConnect for Oracle Familiarity with Shell Scripting
Experience with Sybase 15 /16 including replication
Knowledge of MS SQL and/or Oracle RDBMS is a plus
Experience with Linux, Solaris, and/or UNIX
Must be highly organized with ability to work well under pressure; sensitive to risk and controls
Reviews and enhances existing Sybase /SQL code to improve performance and ensure application meets industry-standard specifications.
Plan and design database changes necessary for data conversion, tool configuration, data refresh or migration or other initiatives related to large application development project.
