Title: Support Specialist II [XTGL_72423]
Location: Plano TX 75023
Type: 6 Months Contract to Hire


Overview:
The Support Specialist II is a senior member of the IT Support team, responsible for managing problem resolution for and mentoring junior team members.
This may include performing diagnosis and troubleshooting of IT equipment and systems, making decisions in selecting and scheduling third party vendors to solve field service problems, handling issues in-person and on the phone, and developing and suggesting improvements to support processes.
This position requires on-call work shifts that require a 24x7 response window.
The Support Specialist II acts as the IT Support Lead in the absence of that individual.

Qualifications & Competencies:

High School Degree or equivalent
At least 5 years of experience with troubleshooting Microsoft Office, Windows, Active Directory, and POS
Thorough knowledge of Windows OS and PC hardware
Retail Experience with IBM/Toshiba POS System a plus
Proficiency with imaging technologies; desktop OS – Linux, Windows, Mac; mobile – iOS and Android
