Job Description :
Role: Support Engineer
Shift: Late afternoon - 1pm-9pm

Description / Responsibilities:
Execution of deployments in to 10+ environments (Development, QA, Certification/Disaster Recovery, Production)
Develop script (in Batch, Ruby, Perl, Foxpro, VBS, Oracle/SQL stored procedures) to automate regular Operations jobs as needed.
Help/be-involved in automation of deployments to all the environments through continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployments (CD)
Disk Storage Management required for NAS, VM or physical drives to ensure capacity
Windows/Linus Server Builds including installation of all applications/configurations, testing, documenting & deploying to all applicable environments.
Troubleshoot, research, test & extract data for client/internal requests
Run daily production print releases including one on Saturdays as an On Call team representative on rotation.
Create or update documentation including procedures, policies and network diagrams.
Coordinate with Dev/Infra/BA groups to coordinate system, product and application upgrades/enhancements
Respond to all alerts and communicate resolution to all parties
Work closely with internal/external vendors to have issues fixed/updated/maintained.
Ensure software licenses, web certificate are renewed.
Ensure renewal, installation & distribution of all expiring web certificates
Make database changes (Oracle/ MS SQL/ FoxPro)
Write database queries in SQL
Perform DBMS activities (Oracle or MS SQL or FoxPro) and trend analysis to identify slowness/locks or failures.

Must Have Skills & Experiences:
5 - 8 years
Strong communication, analytical, troubleshooting/researching skills
Knowledge of Network-based protocols including network troubleshooting : FTP, SFTP, TCP,
Able to communicate issues to various teams in fast-paced environments
Skills in writing database queries using SQL
Nice to Have Skills & Experiences:
Experience in any monitoring performance management systems (NetCool, New Relic, etc and ticketing systems (Sales/Remedy Force)
Knowledge and some experience in supporting Web-based/Cloud Technologies, DBMS based apps, performing Windows/UNIX/Linux Sys Admin jobs
Some working knowledge of Cloud IAAS/PAAS, preferably AWS
Familiarity with web-based ticketing systems (Sales/Remedy Force desired)
Scripting and basic programming skills
