Job Description :
Support Engineer ( Ab Initio )
Location: San Francisco, CA
Term: Contract 8 months ( Extendable )
Local candidate preferred. Must be willing to work local
1 – Unix/shell scripting (some of their current jobs use sh files)
2 – Ab Initio (customer has mentioned graphs and subgraphs in thread)
3 – Ctrl-M for porting and proper automation per WSI IT standard.
4 – a good understanding and skill on SQL troubleshooting and optimization.
Current or past experience with Ab Initio
5 years experience developing Data Warehouses.
Additional experience in lieu of a degree may be considered
Strong knowledge of database analysis and SQL design for Teradata version 14 and above.
Strong knowledge of Teradata utilities including MLOAD, Fastload and TPUMP and new features.
Strong Data Warehouse and Data Modeling experience
Strong UNIX experience
Knowledge of Windows, and Linux operating systems
Excellent communication skills as p
osition require interaction with customer.
Research, troubleshooting and problem solving skills
Experience with performance tuning and space reclamation
