Job Description: This is a mid-level E-commerce position requir! ing a minimum of bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or has equivalent work experience. Must have at least 5 years’ experience in WebSphere product support. Must have Connect:Direct experience and strong administration support skills in UNIX (Solaris / Linux) environment and strong communication and documentation skills. Be able to lead and coordinate the design, development, implementation and support of specialized business and technical information technology solutions.

Typical Duties:
This person is a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Connect:Direct and will provide build support for new projects. Typical duties include the following:
Work closely with project managers application development teams
Work with the architecture team to implement new technologies
Qualifications: Required Skills and/or Product Knowledge:
Strong UNIX sys admin skills
Experience configuring and setting up Connect:Direct in a Unix or Linux environment
Understanding of SSL,TLS and data encryption
Understanding of Unix permissions including FACLS
Shell Scripting (Shell, Perl, Python, etc)
Strong knowledge of HTTP and HTTPS protocols
Experience in identifying and troubleshooting system outages
Proven interpersonal, communication, organizational, leadership and customer service skills
Must be willing to work off hours, weekends and be on call for production support.


The following skills and experience are preferred:
Experience with one or more of the following file transfer or scheduling products: Connect:Direct; Secure Transport; MQ Series
Qualified applicants will hold a Bachelor''s degree in a related area and have at least 5 to 8 years of experience in the field
Demonstration of initiative and results oriented with flexibility and tenacity, and the ability to continuously adjust priorities to reflect changing circumstances
Strong diplomacy, assertiveness, influencing skills with commitment and ability to work in a dynamic cross-organizational team environment
Strong dedication to provide quality customer service

Strong analytical skills including the ability to quickly identify the cause of issues with the system or determine if other teams need to be included in resolving an issue
Ability to manage own projects including communications to customers as well as work as part of a larger team managed by a project manager
