.NET Developer
The Georgia Environmental Protection Division (EPD) is the state environmental regulatory agency. Our mission is to protect and restore Georgia’s environment. EPD is seeking a Developer to work with a team in the conversion of an existing MS Access application to a .NET web application with a SQL Server database.

Job Description:
Must have a strong background in new development and heavy reporting projects. Must be able to convert business requirements to a user-friendly application. Must have experience working with a team of developers, DBAs and business analysts.
Your background should include:

Technical skills
Strong C# .NET web application development. VB language skill.
We are developing all the latest application in .NET Core 2 framework and Angular JS Or React client with Entity Framework for data layer.
SPA (Single Page Application) experience is a plus.
Type Script experience.
Experience with LinQ To SQL is must.
Java script or any latest Java script library experience (Jquery
MVC experience
Experience with REST Services and Web API.
Create object-oriented code NET (Framework) required or C# code is a plus), according to the requests.
MS SQL 2012+ experience (stored procedures, table management, TSQL, etc is preferred.
Data Modelling experience is required.
Understand how the database modeling techniques relate to each other.
Experience in implementing applications using relational databases.
Knowledge of Microsoft ASP.NET
Ability to develop or modify moderately complex software in a Microsoft Windows environment is required.
Passion for clean, readable code.
Experience with a variety of reporting solutions, such as: SSRS, Crystal Reports, Tableau, MicroStrategy, Active Query
Knowledge of MS Access.
Experience with .NET Core and Entity Framework preferred.
Knowledge of ESRI’s ArcGIS Products, Python and GIS development.

Professional Skills
Develop new CNET and .NET environments, including user-friendly screen and report design.
Strong background in User Experience best practices.
Must be able to translate business requirement into a new application.
Experiencing working with loosely defined and/or frequently changing requirements. Able to call out gaps in the requirements. Proactive.
Experience translating workflow requirements into a new application.
Strong background in new development (versus maintaining existing applications
Background working collaboratively with BA, PM and client to design user screens.
Must be able to proactively identify technical and design considerations.
Technically and methodically approach the problem for diagnosis and troubleshooting.
Create a detailed design specific for the application components according to the requirements.
Must have good analytical skills.
Ensure appropriate documentation for all development and modification.
Experience with Git and JIRA are a plus.
Detail oriented and an organized person.
Writing documentation with functional and technical content.
Following and adding to the programming standards.
