Role: Strong Azure Admin with strong Linux skills
Work Location: Fremont, CA 94538
Duration: 12 Months
We are looking for strong Azure Admin with strong Linux skills.
· Core azure cloud services and relevant IaaS in cloud as well on-prem with mindset of automating routine repeatable tasks
· Core system admin skills, great to have a system admin or azure admin certification
· Azure cloud - Active Directory, Certificate Services, various network protocols, DNS/Vnet build/load balancer, ARM templates
· Integration of on-prem to cloud as extension of on-prem services
· Monitoring, Alerting, Auto scaling, Backup/restore
· Some experience configuring big data cluster services like Hadoop and hive using strong fundamental knowledge of Azure (but not at expense of core systems and cloud skills) ·
Basic understanding on big data analytics processing – how data pipeline is built and data is processed
· Ability, Motivation to learn and deploy new capabilities in big data space
· Basic understanding of cloud break
· Strong knowledge of a configuration management tool like chef/salt or ansible to enable basic automation
· Strong scripting skills to write code for sys admin tools for infrastructure
