Storage Support Engineer:
Location: Hopkinton, MA

Will conduct product sustenance engineering for Block and File Storage controller software.
The successful candidate will perform reproduction/root cause analysis for field defects, provide escalation engineering support for critical customer issues, including site/operations recovery, and will help coordinate successful communications on status between the customer and multiple internal teams.

MINIMUM Requirements:
3-8-year experience resource for escalation engineering in a 24*7 support model

Skill Requirements:

Strong communication skills, technical aptitude, problem solving skills and analytical ability.
Ready to work for a support/maintenance project, providing 24*7 support (shifts/weekends
Solid experience on Unix systems, Unix Internals, & the Unix File System.
Working understanding of scripting language (Shell scripting, Perl, Python)
Domain Knowledge: File system, Network, File Access Protocol (CIFS, NFS)

Nice to Have:
Experience in the storage domain will be an added advantage
C, C++, programming experience and Multi-threading environment
Debugging skills: GDB, Windbg
