Job Description :
Ø HP XP12000, XP24000/ Hitachi USPv SAN Administration, Management and Configuration

Ø HP P9500 SAN Administration, Management and Configuration

Ø 3PAR/EVA to 3PAR and EVA Administration, Management and Configuration

Ø HP MSA SAN Administration, Management and Configuration

Ø Knowledge of Command View XP and MSA management software

Ø Working knowledge on Business Copy and Snapshots on HP XP and HORCM configuration.

Ø LUN masking and Chip port assignment on HP XP

Ø SAN Switch zoning and configuration on Brocade

Ø Minimum 4 to 6 years of experience in Administration/Design and Implementation on EMC Storage (VMAX, VNX, DMX, isilon)

Ø Experience in managing different Isilon products in IQ series

Ø Isilon Cluster configuration & management

Ø Isilon Network setup with infiband management

Ø NFS exports and SMB configuration and management

Ø Islion reporting with InsightIQ

Ø SyncIQ configuration for Backup purpose

Ø setup NDMP backup on isilon

Ø Configuration of snapshotIQ with policy

Ø Quota configuration and management

Ø Troubleshooting network and NFS exports related issues.

Ø Experience in SRDF and time finder configuration in EMC storage environment

Ø Strong Knowledge on Performance analysis factors of Storage Arrays

Ø In-depth knowledge of using SYMCLI

Ø Experience in Designing, Configuring and troubleshooting Fabric Environment constituting Brocade/ Cisco switches.

Ø In-depth knowledge of managing and administering ECC

Ø Certification on EMC technology is an added advantage.

Ø In-depth knowledge of Tape libraries MSL, ESL and EML

Ø Hands-on knowledge on in any of the storage management applications like Storage Essentials, ECC etc

Ø System administration experience on HPUX, Linux, windows, and knowledge on Volume Manager Concepts would be an added value.

Ø In depth Knowledge on ITIL processes like Incident management, Problem Management, Configuration management and Change Management processes.

Ø Certification on HP Storage technology is an added advantage.

Ø Good skills on performance optimization.

Ø Solving complicated Hardware cases and Liaising with Hardware Vendor/EMC support

Ø Advanced trouble shooting skills and identify the severity of the issue, Ability to Resolving issues quickly to account/customer satisfaction and Prepare RCA

Ø System administration skills on UNIX/Windows

Ø Provide operational support on a 24x7 rotation basis.

Ø Perform regular health checks and performance audits in order to proactively isolate and resolve potential issues

Ø Also be involved in and responsible for the operational support for (1 Incident Management + Change Management (Planning & Execution)

Ø On - call Escalation

Ø Ticket Quality

Ø Process adherence & Security compliance

Ø Customer feedback ( Appreciations, CSAT survey results)

Ø KB preparation and review, Knowledge sharing & documentation
