Job Title: Storage Administrator
Location: Tempe, AZ
Duration: Long Term Contract
Requirement :
Required Skills and Experience:
· Proficient in various vendor’s (HDS, EMC, etc) storage platform technologies (SAN/NAS/FLASH) including architecture, operational procedures related to management and monitoring of various storage software/hardware components.
· Must have working experience with HDS (VSP, HUS-VM, HUS series and AMS) and EMC VNX series.
· Experience in implementing local recovery and disaster recovery
· Experience in managing FC/FCoE Switches – Cisco MDS series
· Advance knowledge of SAN best practices for VMware, Windows and Linux operating system.
· Expert understanding SAN technology, Tiered Storage, Dynamic pool, performance tuning, etc.
· Understanding of latest I/O technologies including 10Gb Ethernet, PCoE, PCIe, etc…
· Expertise in qualifying HBAs, solid state drives and storage subsystems.
· Being able to work cross platform, with Windows and Linux. This helps understand hybrid platform environment and thus help design considerations.
