WeWork is seeking to hire a Senior Analyst to support two key programmes of work; Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) and International Growth. The Senior Analyst will lead the onboarding and integrations associated with multiple M&A’s at various stages of the lifecycle from due diligence through post-merger integration. You will also lead WeWork’s International Growth programme again at various stages of the lifecycle from conception to implementation in the new market.
This hands-on senior technical role demands extensive knowledge of HR and Finance business processes and methodologies along with an analytical background. The candidate will have direct hands on experience in Workday HCM and Financials process design, configuration and implementation especially with Workday data uploads, transformation using the EIB process.
You will lead Business Systems on the M&A and International Growth teams, assisting with the development of project plans and delivering for multiple Business Systems onboarding and integration work streams, facilitating conversations and collaborating with other teams across WeWork encompassing both HCM and Finance processes, brokering decisions with appropriate stakeholders, identifying issues, and escalating risks.
Additionally, the ideal candidate must thrive in fast-paced environments, be able to manage and work to bring clarity through ambiguity and complexity, and support multiple, simultaneous projects.
Business systems that are integrated for M&A and International Growth include and are not limited to Workday (both HCM and Financials), JIRA, Concur, Xactly, Greenhouse, Lattice, Cornerstone and Smartsheets.
For M&A, you will partner with various business stakeholder teams to integrate and merge the associated data and systems. You will translate software and service requirements into technical requirements and partner with service teams to develop and deliver the required solutions. Similarly, you will partner with internal teams to gather requirements and lead the setting up our systems for new markets as part of the International Growth program.
You will balance multiple products, services and projects at once and drive high velocity change. The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, motivated, resourceful, flexible, and collaborative.
The full-time position is based in New York within the Business Systems group.

Primary Responsibilities:
Serve as a senior Workday specialist covering both HCM and Financials.
Represent Business Systems on the WeWork M&A and International Growth team.
Partner with M&A and International Growth functional teams to execute tasks associated with onboarding and new market launch.
Partner with business liaisons and technical teams to understand and define system integration goals and technical system integration requirements.
Partner with due diligence on the current state for both M&A and International growth projects.
Work to identify actions associated with the acquired companies’ full list of services, software, and hardware as part of M&A projects.
Facilitate system integrations outside of Business Systems through connecting acquired company POCs with appropriate WeWork POCs.
Deliver thorough, appropriate and timely communications.
Clearly communicate complex technical subjects to business and technology stakeholders.
Creates technical specifications and processes using structured analysis and data modeling techniques (e.g. process flow diagrams, entity-relationship diagrams
Setup and configure Workday as per the requirements needed by the respective projects.

Assists business liaisons to evaluate cost-benefit and ROI analyses.
Understands system interdependencies and collaborates with project teams accordingly.
Develop and manage detailed project tasks in tools like Smartsheets and Monday.
Develop detailed system requirements, test plans and training materials.
Strong at problem solving and able to design solutions that meet a range of sometimes conflicting requirements.
Leverage business knowledge to identify opportunities for process improvements.
Able to build strong personal relationships and trust.
Able to facilitate disparate stakeholders and team members and drive consensus in meetings, workshops and one to one interactions.
Assist in resolving User “How To” questions and create relevant job aids/training/communication aids/learning/communications.

Job Requirements:
A minimum of 4 years hands on experience with Workday HCM and Financials.
A minimum of 4 years hands on experience managing and loading data to Workday.
3 years of experience as a member of a project team.
1 years experience implementing M&A integration and separation solutions.
A minimum of 2 years experience working in a global international environment
Ability to maintain composure and perseverance through ambiguous and complex M&A and new market launch projects.
Ability to collaborate with WeWork and acquired company business stakeholders; Corporate Technology tech support, training, systems engineering, infrastructure, information security, audiovisual, and project management teams; and vendors.
Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and changing business requirements
Ability to quickly troubleshoot problems that may arise in work products
Ability to partner with software and service vendors / engineers to identify course of resolutions

Willingness to travel globally as needed.
Willingness to participate in meetings outside of core hours to support other time zones.
