Job Description :
Design and collaborate in the development of prototypes for digital projects through UX research and design thinking. Work as part of a cross-functional team to document flows, interfaces and other components of the solution as needed to ensure realization of the intended experience.
Experienced in planning and executing UX initiatives from discovery through design and prototyping. Can effectively and fluidly translates findings into actionable strategy and concrete design.
Conducts UX Research and other discovery stage techniques including: Competitive Analysis, Usability Testing, Field / Lab Testing, Contextual Inquiry, etc.
Collects and analyzes quantitative and qualitative data using a variety of methods including: interviews, usability testing, surveys, secondary research, etc.
Reviews, evaluates, distills and synthesizes data to uncover issues, identify trends and provide insights.
Creates beautiful and intuitive artifacts that support a user-centered design process such as user flows, personas and user journeys, and experience maps
Designs wireframes, design specs and/or mock-ups that can be translated into prototypes and/or code by a developer.
Packages findings, insights and recommendations into reports, presentations and/or other outputs as needed.
Desired Skills & Experience
5+ years professional experience supporting and leading UX design and research projects.
Expert user of Adobe Creative Suite and able to create prototypes in tools like InVision, etc. Proficiency in Omnigraffle, Sketch, Abstract, Zeplin and/or other UI/UX tools a plus.
Knowledgeable and proficient in planning and conducting primary and secondary research methods. Experience with UserZoom a plus.
Experience working as part of an Agile team a plus
Attending or completed degree in human factors, HCI, Psychology, Sociology, Cognitive Science, Marketing, Design or related field.
Highly professional, accountable, reliable, responsive and detail-oriented with a strong work ethic.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Able to effectively communicate and present design solutions to cross-functional business stakeholders.
