Position Description:
Software Test Engineer for the SCA-Customer program. Master Database Management (MDM) is core technology of SCA-Customer program. As Software Test Engineer, you will be part of one of the MDM teams and will be responsible for - Working as an Agile team member to provide solutions to User Stories (requirements) including automated test scenarios - Partnering with developers to improve and automate development, test and release processes - Developing and program test scripts for testing automation. - Writing test procedures and test protocols tesing automation. - Participating in understanding and grooming of User Stories, QA related tasks and test cases, and functional automation - Participating in product demos at iteration reviews - Participate in defect triage - Ability to work in a fast paced constantly changing environment
Skills Required:
- 5+ years testing and test automation - Knowledge of Web Services standards and related technologies (XML, SOAP, JSON, REST, etc. - Knowledge of database query tools and ability to write and run SQL queries for data validation. - Experience working DB2 and SQL Server databases - Knowledge of software testing (functional, regression, integration and end to end testing - Sound knowledge in developing Automation frameworks such as Cucumber, FitNesse etc. - Development experience in at least one programming language or technology including, but not limited, to Java, C/C++, Python, Javascript, etc. - Strong analytical and problem solving skills and attention to detail. - Excellent verbal and written communication and documentation skills.
Education Required:
B.S. Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent work experience in the requested field
