Position Description
CGI is seeking to on-board a Senior Altryx and Tableau developer with 8 years of experience in adavance features of Tableau & Altryx in support of our strategic Investment Banking Client in NYC. Ideal candidate should have a broad understanding and experience of data modeling, data management, ETL and Business Intelligence.
Your future duties and responsibilities
Develop, enhance, and maintain dashboards, by communicating with Sr. Leadership, and technical/non-technical resources to fully understand business and strategy requirements. Leads in the design and definition of data sources to optimize dashboard performance
Perform advanced Tableau development, including Tableau data model creation, dimension customization, advanced calculations and interactive dashboards.
Design and implement advanced Tableau visualizations using action filters, user filters and Level-of-Detail (LOD) expressions
Find and integrate data from multiple sources and systems to provide analysis and insights to Senior Management.
Analyze key metrics, identify key trends and prepare reports and presentations for senior executives and other key management representatives
Define best practices for Tableau report development and provide ad-hoc analysis and as needed with on-going projects.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Minimum of 4 years of working experience with Tableau, Informatica, SQL, Oracle, PL/SQL
Minimum of 2 years of hands on working experience with Alteryx, and Spotfire.
Advance tableau functionalities like LOD Expressions, sets, groups, Tableau Analytics with strong ETL Skills.
Requires strong SQL development skills – writing complex queries and stored procedures – SQL
