Job Summary:
The Portfolio Delivery Metrics team is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Tableau Developer/Designer to work in a fast-past high visibility role developing interactive and informative visual dashboards. The candidate will be required to work closely with all levels of management, development teams and other analysts to analyze and develop informative data visualizations to support the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe Must be proficient at translating business needs to technical requirements and highly experienced in providing solutions and designing impressive and meaningful dashboards.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years’ experience developing Operational and Analytical Dashboards
3+ years’ experience utilizing Tableau to implement complex solutions which access data from multiple sources
3+ years hands on MS SQL experience, relational databases and Dimensional Modeling
Mastery of Tableau charting; reusability; leveraging variables and templates; and building/deploying section-access security models
Strong knowledge on Tableau server architecture and building robust dash boarding solutions applying business rules and data validations
Advanced scripting and ETL, data modeling (star schema); Working with large data sets
Use of complex Tableau functions and developing optimal scripts for a given solution
Able to create advanced highlight actions, parameters, filters (Local, Global) and calculated sets for preparing dashboards and worksheets using Tableau
Proficient in building, publishing customized interactive reports and dashboards, report scheduling using Tableau server
Effectively used data blending with multiple data sources and drillable hierarchies
Experience working with Entity Relationship Diagramming for Data Modeling
Experience in developing Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)
Experience with various programming languages (JavaScript, R, Python, SAS)
Knowledgeable in using GIS providers in Tableau to create multi-layer maps - preferred
Must have strong consultative, analytical and problem-solving skills
