Job Description :
We''re looking for a Sr. Systems/Performance Tuning Engineer with 6+ years of experience to join an awesome team in Seattle, WA. Your primary repsonsiblity will be troubleshooting performance issues in a complicated Data Center environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Assist with Data Center configuration, capacity, and growth planning
- Develop & document standards
- Troubleshoot performance issues
- Provide hardware support services and technical expertise in OS deployment
- Provide Technical systems infrastructure support to clients and system operators
- Organize data using diagrams and spreadsheets
- Own identity problem trends to improve dependability of the environment and meet appropriate SLA’s
- Monitor systems for availability and performance
- Coordinate client activity & support
- Respond to alerts to meet service levels and business objectives
- Install, Maintain, and test hardware and software issues
- Contribute to design and standardization efforts
- Write procedures and scripts to support day or day operations
- Work well in an Agile environment
- Reports to the Director of Server Engineering

REQUIREMENTS:

- MUST have experience working in a complicated Data Center environment
- MUST have experience working with large data sets
- Performance Tuning experience
- MUST have Remediation experience working with vendors and support
- 5-10 years of experience supporting enterprise IT environment
- 5+ years of Active Directory experience
- 5+ years supporting virtualization technologies such as VMWare and Hyper-V
- Migration experience
- SaaS experience
- Cisco UCS platform experience
- General domain service Admin and Design experience
- Solarwinds & Spotlight monitoring tools
- SQL, Batch WMI, VB Script, or Powershell is a PLUS
- Infrastructure Library (ITIL) experience (v3 preferred)
- Knowledge of Microsoft clustering & Network Topologies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Solid Customer Service experience
- Solid understanding of Data Center practices
- Team Player, Problem Solver,
- MUST HAVE a positive attitude
- 5+ years of experience with Windows 2008/2012 administration
- MCSE or VCP certification
