Job Description :

Client located in Roseland, NJ, is in need of 1 NetApp Migration Engineer for a 6 month contract with potential for extension. The NetApp migration engineer will be working with a Storage team of 12 to help facilitate the client’s NAS migration of NetApp to Isilon, utilizing the 7MTT migration tool. The NetApp Migration Engineer will be able to work independently with minimal supervision or support to help facilitate the migrations, including having expert knowledge of 7MTT. The NetApp Engineer will have a flexible schedule to include a mix of days, evenings and/or weekends.

Required Skills:

7+ years of experience in IT environments, System Administration, Storage Administration, or IT consulting.
5+ years of recent Hands ON Experience in Netapp NAS Storage array Infrastructure, Migrations.
2+ years of Hands on Netapp Migration Experience using 7MTT.
Proficient in Netapp to Netapp, Netapp to Isilon NAS Migrations.
Strong Experience in supporting a very large NAS Environment. Troubleshooting NAS and related Network/OS issues, performance management tools.
Experience with Windows/Unix/ESX for storage related configuration steps
Experience with EMC Isilon/Production Support.
Preferred or Nice to Have Skills:

Specialized training in computer systems engineering, and system administration helpful.
Operating System, Backup, Storage and Storage Certifications are desirable.
Experience with UNIX, Linux and Windows administration.
Degree in Computer Science or relevant work experience
