Job Responsibilities:
Serve as a SME for the customer storage environment, including all aspects
of lifecycle support (including O&M repairs, OS and firmware upgrades,
continuous service improvement, performance monitoring and report
generation Must have knowledge of the integration of NetApp SNAP Products
with external components, such as VMWare and Microsoft SQL Server. Ensures
SLAs are met for the protection of data on the storage system. Performs root
cause analysis for incidents and ensures system compatibility with the rest
of the Virtual Infrastructure. Engineer and implement automation techniques
and provide recommendations for change to customers attention. Participate
in 24x7 on-call rotation. Requirements: Bachelor''s degree and at least 5
years working with storage systems; expert knowledge of NetApp storage;
expert experience with SAN (block) storage provisioning; expert experience
with SNAP products; CDOT management experience a must with multisite
replication; experience implementing automation techniques, performance
monitoring, reporting and NetApp tools, such as Command Unified Manager and
On Command Performance Manager.
