Job Description :
As a Senior Software Engineer, will be part of the Asset Based Lending, Private Banking and Wealth Management group.
The primary responsibility will be towards the development and delivery of Deposit, Lending, Wealth Management, Credit Origination solutions/projects and initiatives being used by our Asset Based Lending, Private Banking & Wealth Management teams. The engineer will be responsible for all software aspects including research, design, technology insertion, development, testing, deployment and sustainment. The role will be focusing on developing the solutions working closely with partner resources and onsite team members (development leads and systems analysts
Primary responsibilities would be:
Hands-on development and contribution towards the delivery of the projects at hand
Work closely and collaborate with onsite/offsite leads and developers in design and delivery of solutions
Follow SVB’s SSDLC delivery methodology for the delivery of the solutions
Complete ownership of the applications in the portfolio right from development to day to day support aspects
Support team in evaluation and selection of appropriate tools and technologies
Collaborate and contribute to the architectural roadmaps and adhere to the enterprise architecture guidelines
Compliance to all SVB standards, policies and procedures.
A bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or other related engineering discipline
8 years of experience on software engineering
Ability to analyze and trouble shoot production issues.
Experience with TDD and CICD delivery.
Required to work in overlapping/shift hours as required (on a rotation basis
Experience in working with COTS and SaaS solutions
Experience with distributed systems
Hands-on Experience with Java/J2EE, Restful Webservices, web applications, JSM, transactional databases, NoSQL databases
Experience with enterprise integration services/solutions
Experience and exposure to API gateways
Experience working with SOA platforms like MuleSoft, APGIEE, Oracle ESB etc
Implementation experience with SAAS/PAAS based solutions.
Nice to have:
Experience implementing solutions using Agile/Kanban/Iterative delivery methodologies
Working knowledge on AWS Could Infrastructure
Implementation experience with SAAS/PAAS based solutions.
Experience in utilizing SDLC
Experience in IMX, Miser, Fidelity Wealth Management, LaserPro, Digital Insight
Experience in development of ETL
Prior experience with regulated financial organizations
