We are looking for a SharePoint Developer to join our team. We have an initiative to transform themselves to a modern work space for employees by standardizing and building out a new O365 platform on the infrastructure technology side (the first of many projects The Platform will enable employees and teams to work collaboratively and will empower them to better and more immediately respond to their customer’s demands. There will be multiple roles within this group with an overarching goal of transforming the way people work. SharePoint Developer
The SharePoint Developer is responsible for the development and administration of our CLIENT’s SharePoint platforms, including the training and support of the business users and the design, development and execution of complex SharePoint projects. As a key member of the Intranet Solutions Team, the SharePoint Specialist is a versatile role, equally comfortable helping an end-user configure a document library, building a workflow, or delving into and troubleshooting server settings. The SharePoint Specialist will collaborate with internal business units to deliver effective and innovative business technology solutions. The candidate will play a key role in directing the design and ensuring successful implementation of software enhancements and lead new development efforts by enforcing SDLC.

Responsibilities:
Work collaboratively with the business users and other IT groups to design, build, configure, and maintain SharePoint farm(s), sites and site collections.
Drive the evolution and best practice of governance and compliance and document technical specifications and design best practices.
Collaborate with business users on SharePoint Projects which may include a combination of requirements gathering, use case development and analysis, solution design, and project management
Effectively execute against product roadmap and provide ongoing support.
Lead the development effort across Business and IT including implementation, QA and migration to production.
Assist the business users with their SharePoint sites, answering questions, training the business Site Collection Admins (SCA), suggesting improvements to their process or methodology, etc.
Advanced troubleshooting of problems experienced by SharePoint users, and collaborative participation with the SharePoint engineers to resolve problems with the platform

Requirements:
Reports to: Manager, Intranet Solutions
Solid experience in Microsoft SharePoint development
Experience with document management (content types, document retention, capacity planning, Managed Metadata
Experience with Central Administration, service application architecture
Experience with reviewing SharePoint logs (EventViewer and ULS) for troubleshooting and problem resolution
Experience working with SharePoint workflows, workflow foundation, SP Designer
Solid understanding of relational database concepts
Good organization and communications skills
Strong analytical thinking and excellent troubleshooting
Ability to manage multiple, concurrent projects
Familiarity with SDLC and Change Control processes
Experience with ASP.NET and Web Services a plus
Experience with PowerShell scripting
Experience with Nintex Forms a plus
Experience with 3rd party SharePoint tools and products
Experience with Office 365 and SharePoint Online (on-premise and hybrid)
Strong customer service skills
Must possess excellent written and oral communications skills and the ability to clearly define projects, objectives, goals, schedules and assignments
Must be able to train users and groups of users
Must possess the ability to work effectively with business personnel at all levels as well as with outside vendors and contractors
Must exercise a reasonable amount of independent judgment under a minimum of supervision
Requires strong interpersonal and organizational skills, including the ability to meet deadlines
