JOB Description – Sr. Security Project Manager
The IT Project Manager is responsible for managing and driving projects to add to the Palo Alto Network HW being installed and the strategy towards a Network Defined Perimeter model.
This Project Manager will be responsible for managing/understanding the existing PAN infrastructure and how they can add it from a SW perspective. There are several software security products available, bluecoat being one of them and this Project Manager will be an advisor/technologist to evaluate different products that will complement Palo Alto Network devices.
Experience:
8+ years of project management experience managing large complex projects in the area of IT Security infrastructure
Experience managing directory services project, configuration management projects
Experience managing security related infrastructure and applications. (i.e., Firewall and routing/switching IT infrastructure)
Extensive experience in developing and execution of IT governance, project methodologies, procedures and processes
Proven ability to build motivated, collaborative and productive cross functional teams
Proven ability to effectively communicate verbally or in written form, with all levels of the organization, and able to influence a larger team to perform toward the same goal
Excellent organizational and time management skill
Highly analytical, and methodical, strong problem solving ability on complex subjects
Experience managing directory services project, configuration management projects
Project Requirements:
Establish and maintain the project management guidelines
Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously
Determine methodology used on each project, and approve project charter for implementation
Develop requirements specifications according to standard templates
Be the liaison between the business units, technology teams and support teams
Communicates key performance information to the senior management team
Track project budget, resources, revenue potential, expenses, and other associated key performance indicators

Ability to work under pressure, managing competing priorities, and building a team of professional who can complete tasks on time within a fast-paced environment
Working knowledge of technology, vendors, products, development and support alternatives
Proven business skills including financial analysis and budgeting

Ability to establish effective working relationships with associates, counterparts and external customers.
