Sr. Security Engineer

The organization is embarking on a long-term enterprise wide IT transformation initiative moving from decentralized to centralized IT and expanding their cloud computing footprint. The IT Security Team is reducing organizational risk through hands-on and automated vulnerability analysis and remediation. Working on Linux (Redhat/Centos) and Windows platforms, the team uses Rapid 7 Nexpose, Splunk, Check Point Encryption, Palo Alto, and SCCM. Each Security Engineer trouble shoots issues, resolves security events, mitigates risk, writes project plans, and edits python scripts as needed. Each team member is well versed on topics such as network security, cloud security, firewall operations, and incident response.
Minimum Requirements:
4+ years experience trouble shooting and resolving security events.
3+ years experience vulnerability testing and remediation.
1+ years experience with:
o Splunk
o writing project plans
o editing python scripts
SCCM experience is a plus
Experience on both Windows and Linux.
