Position: Sr. Scrum Master
Location: York, PA
Duration: Fulltime

Description:
Role & Responsibilities:
Provide guidance to the team and organization on best use of Agile/Scrum practices and values to delight customers.
Guide & mentor the team on becoming a synergetic, self-sufficient & cross functional team.
Assessing the Scrum Maturity of the team and organization and coaching the team to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and organization.
Removing impediments or guiding the team to remove impediments by finding the right personnel to remove the impediment.
Building a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis of healing and problem solving.
Fulfilling the role of servant-leader by facilitating to get the work done without coercion, assigning, or dictating the work.
Facilitating discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution by optimal scheduling and use of scrum ceremonies.
Assisting with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information.
Supporting and educating the Product Owner, especially with respect to grooming and maintaining the product backlog.
Required skills:
Scrum Master Certification
Hands on experience in managing projects that employed SAFe agile principles is preferred.
Overall experience of over 9 years project management experience, which includes minimum 5 years of managing projects in agile methodology, playing the Scrum Master role for a software development team, applying Scrum principles, practices, and theory.
Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency
Knowledge of well documented patterns and techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left in the Scrum approach (example: numerous Burndown techniques, numerous Retrospective formats, handling bugs, etc)
Knowledge of other Agile approaches: XP, Kanban etc
Knowledge and/or experience with widely successful Agile techniques: User Stories, Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing,
Excellent communication and mentoring skills.
Past experience in agile software development on a major programming platforms such as Microsoft .NET will be a preferred qualification.
Past experience in agile software development for engineering/ manufacturing domain will be an added advantage.
Education:
Required: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or similar technical discipline; or, equivalent demonstrable experience
Key Skills:
