Title: Sr. Salesforce Engineer
Location: Costa Mesa, CA
Duration: 6 months
Position Summary: Senior Salesforce Engineer would be a principal contributor to Tickets.com Salesforce product offering, ProVenueForce (PVF Primary responsibilities would involve building custom objects & features within Salesforce, installing packages/apps, building new workflows/processes, promoting code, mentoring team members, etc.
Essential Functions:
Design, code, and test medium to large Salesforce enhancements
Review functional requirements and provide high-level feedback on implementation alternatives, including pros & cons of various options
Work in an agile manner, implementing & demoing various POCs, providing metrics on the performance & complexity of these POCs, and carry the preferred approach into production code
Debug and correct problems in existing & new Salesforce customizations
Write technical documentation
Estimate task complexity, provide estimates and schedules
Provide direction to less experienced engineers
· Follow all company standards, including the software coding standards document
Technical Requirements:
Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Computer Science (or equivalent) is required
At least 3 years in-depth hands-on experience with Salesforce development required
Very experienced in Visualforce, Apex coding and custom object development in Salesforce is required
In depth knowledge & extensive experience with the various forms of Salesforce security
Experience with the following Salesforce objects/domains absolutely required: Accounts, Contacts, Campaigns, Leads, Opportunities, Orders, Products, PriceBooks, Users, Roles, Profiles, Permissions, etc
Knowledge of rollup fields, triggers, scheduled jobs, etc required
Experience exporting, installing & promoting code between environments required
Proficient at App Exchange installations, and Salesforce / telephony integration critical
Familiar with Form Builder integrations critical
Experience with Salesforce reporting and dashboards critical
Capable of importing & exporting data to/from Salesforce critical
Experience integrating custom applications within a Salesforce iframe would be a plus
Experience with data loader, Salesforce upload APIs, etc., a plus
Experience integrating outbound REST APIs from Salesforce a plus
