Role: Sr Salesforce Developer
Location: Torrance, CA
Duration: 12 Month + extensions
Phone and Skype interviews
Must have recent Service Cloud and Sales Cloud experience - it is required!
Notes from the Manger:
* Will be providing front end and back end support
* Conduct sanity checks for other people''s work
* Will work and mentor other team members who are not as well versed in
Salesforce
* Will be focusing on writing , maintaining and integration support
duties for Salesforce
* AHFC is adding more function into Salesforce
* Working on the payment tool and expanding the Saleforce Program such
as notification tools, self service options, etc. (pretty long term
position - multi-year)
* Looking for a Sr. Developer - 4-5 years of experience who may have
held some of the Architect type related duties
* Needs to have all the tools and skills of a Sr. Level Developer, but
perhaps has not held a formal Architect title
* Architect experience is not a must have (as they know the rate
cannot warrant this type of experience)
* Must have''s are Salesforce Service Cloud and Marketing Cloud/Exact
Target
* The team is starting to dive into Marketing Cloud so if they had to
choose one over the other, probably Service Cloud is more important
* Integration experience needs to be focused on integrating with
external systems and how that works with Salesforce (is ideal)
* Informatica Cloud experience is a plus
* Must have 4-5 years of Salesforce experience plus integration
knowledge
* Looking to fill this position by April (new Fiscal Year)
Salesforce Developer Description:
Looking for a Senior Salesforce Developer who is ready to transition into an
Architect position. This individual will be supporting the Salesforce
program for a financial division. He she will be working on expanding the
functionality of the payment tool and expanding the Saleforce Program such
as notification tools, self service options, etc. This is a very long term
project (12 plus months Responsibilities will include the following:
* Drive business and IT alignment to leverage reusable architecture
capabilities
* Collaborate with IT management to define and develop technology
strategy, technology standards, roadmaps and practices
* Act as a technical expert addressing problems relating to systems
integration, compatibility, and multiple platform integration
* Interact and consult with appropriate business analysts, project
managers and developers to understand application/project requirements and
define architectural solutions to meet those requirements
* Work with the application solutions delivery teams in the
development of services, components, standards, and frameworks required to
support
* Client''s business strategy (e.g. design patterns, reusable
components)
* Ensure that projects follow the prescribed development life cycle
and meet quality standards
* Assist with analyzing and recommending software acquisitions and
alternative solutions/methodologies/strategies and tools Daily Tasks
Performed
* Design, Develop and maintain SalesForce applications
* Create and manage custom objects, fields, formulas, analytic
snapshots and report types
* Develop and maintain custom Reports and Dashboards
* Develop and maintain validation and custom workflow rules
* Support efforts to integrate SalesForce with other systems and
applications to include troubleshooting existing web services, batch
integrations and third-party components
* Create and maintain enterprise architecture and designs as part of
the SalesForce platform vision and architecture runway in an iterative
manner over the course of sprints, phases & releases
* Understand requirements, conduct requirements elaboration and
create designs to be implemented
* Provide SalesForce Architectural guidance to internal technical &
business teams
* Design, develop and maintain web-based applications using
HTML5/Javascript
* Assist in configuring SalesForce platform
* Assist in supporting mission critical financial systems
Required Skills and Expertise:
* BA/BS in Information Technology, Computer Science, MIS or related
field or equivalent work experience.
* 10 plus years experience designing or configuring systems and/or
applications
* 6 years Relational Database Design and Maintenance
* Must have extensive SalesForce experience (4-5 years of experience)
* Sr. Salesforce Developer who is ready to move into an Architect role
* Must have a good understanding of SalesForce''s multiple platform
offerings (Service cloud, marketing cloud, etc)
* Integration experience needs to be focused on integrating with
external systems
* At least 5 years of experience and knowledge with HTML/XHTML, jQuery,
JavaScript, AJAX, SQL, SOAP, REST, JSON, APEX & SOQL
* Must be able to mentor and provide best practice guidance with the
SalesForce platform
* Demonstrates a deep technical aptitude of multi-tier and
cross-platform architectures across the enterprise
* In-depth knowledge of design requirements
* Advanced ability to define systems and integration models
* Advanced ability to act as a technical expert addressing problems
relating to systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platform
integration
* Advanced understanding in the information technology
landscape-stretching from infrastructure, network, client, server, emerging
technology standards and trends
* Advanced knowledge and working knowledge of software engineering,
software development, solution architecture and implementation Desired
Skills:
* At least 2-3 years of experience and background with Informatica and
Informatica Cloud
* SalesForce certifications are a plus
