Required
Minimum 4 years of heavy Salesforce Apex development (more than 50% of your role Minimum 1-2 years Apex development if you have more than 5 years programming experience in other languages.
Skilled in troubleshooting and debugging new and existing code.
Salesforce Platform Developer 2 certification preferred; Consideration to candidates with Platform Developer 1 certification
Experience with custom Apex REST based platform integrations — both “to” and “from" the Salesforce platform required.
Experience with GIT/GitHub in respect to Salesforce source and metadata management required.
Experience with custom development in Large Data Volume scenarios
Experience with FFLIB ApexMocks and FFLIB Apex Common open source frameworks desired
Experience with high volume asynchronous transaction programming concerns desired
Full understanding of development lifecycle
Understanding of enterprise architecture design patterns, Separation of concerns, etc. desired
In-depth understanding of specifications provided for new development.
Preferred
Experience with Salesforce DX and Unlocked Packaging
Experience with managed package development
Experience with Lightning page and Lightning component development
Experience with JIRA and Rally
Experience with custom Apex SOAP based platform integrations — both “to” and “from" the Salesforce platform
Additional Notes
We are open to considering candidates who have 1-2 years Salesforce Developer experience but have many years of programming experience in other languages.
We are looking for heavy functional rewrites.
We are open to considering candidates with a Developer 1 certification, but they must have programmatic vs. declarative developer experience using Apex.
We need a programmatic developer. We are not looking for an administrative and configurative developer. Someone who is doing this type of work 50% or more of the time is not our candidate
