Job Description:
Manager is seeking candidates with strong AWS/Azure experience and extensive experience/exposure in Oracle and SQL databases. Responsible in supporting Oracle & MSSQL. Experience supporting audits and security/compliance is desired.
Our client, a global provider of investment management services, is in need of a Senior SQL Database Engineer/Administrator on a contract basis.
The Sr. SQL Database Engineer/Administrator will be required to support projects and optimization of operational activities for the Data Platform. Individual will be responsible to support Oracle, MSSQL in AWS/AZURE cloud, Automation, and improving the compliance and security processes.
Remediate CSAG findings
Help with Deloitte and other audit items
Assess and help remediate various technical debt
Improve security and compliance posture of the data platform
Remediate source of the compliance violations
Help with PAR
Collaborate with security engineering team and help with several efforts
Additional Comments:
Experience with Shell scripting (PowerShell preferred
Seeking candidates with experience supporting security and compliance requirements.
More of a Database Administrator role, not a Database Developer.
Experience with cloud systems is preferred but not required.
