Job Description:
Skills:
5 years of experience with SCCM/SCORCH with advanced knowledge of server and client maintenance, troubleshooting, SQL query , and application deployments.
5 years of experience within a large enterprise with desktop end points spread globally.
Expert knowledge of Windows OS for Desktop and Server, and Systems Management Platforms (SCCM, SCORCH)
Expert knowledge of WSUS for management and distribution of updates and hotfixes released for Microsoft.
Ability to utilize and understand scripting languages (PowerShell, VB Script) Application packaging experience.
Experience with SharePoint and Microsoft Reporting Services for SQL server. Experience with Citrix, Altiris, Terminal Server, and VMWare.
Knowledge of App-V and Hyper-V is desirable. Keen attention to detail. Strong customer service orientation.
Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. Adhere and promote WTW corporate standards.
Accountabilities:
Engineer for SCCM/SCORCH Infrastructure to carry out and support patch management, application deployment, and OS deployment.
Support and Maintain Global infrastructure.
Review the current health and reliability of the SCCM/SCORCH infrastructure and provide recommendations for improvements to meet the business needs.
Creation of custom reports in SCCM Define, configure and utilize Asset Intelligence component of SCCM for capturing status on licensing and software installations.
Provide expertise in troubleshooting Configuration Manager 2012 infrastructure, packaging and patching issues, as needed.
Continued creation and maintenance of Operating System Deployment (OSD) task sequences.
Participate in engineering and automation of desktop image creation and integration with SCCM.
Adherence to technology policies, security controls, and change management procedures.
Working with application owners to understand application installation and interaction with the desktop.
Automating application pre-installation checks and error control in application packages.
Creation of custom installation scripts using VB Script and PowerShell.
Publishing of applications in SCCM.
Coordinating User Acceptance Testing with application owners/business users.
Documentation of application packaging steps and criteria.
Meet or exceed current service levels agreements in place to meet user expectations, including timeframes.
Assist with deployment of security patches. Assist with remediation of vulnerabilities reported by the Security team.
Resolution of Service Desk medium to complex tickets that have been forwarded to the Systems Management area.
