Job Description
This candidate will also be working on SAS Enterprise Miner models production scheduling, model automation, reports automation and overall SAS production support.
Required Expert level Programming and min 5+ years of experience in SAS Programming.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Write extensive SAS codes to automate processes, reports and model scoring
Developing end to end SAS programs to meet business requirements
Implement scoring codes in SAS EG and build efficient work flow to automate model scoring process in various platforms and severs
Write extensive SAS codes to extract and manipulate data from Hadoop and other platforms
Create work flows and schedule tasks in both decision manager and management console
Set up scoring process using SAS scoring accelerator for Hadoop
Utilize Programming SAS, SQL, DB2 AND Hadoop scripts on Unix and Windows platform
Perform sanity checks post deployment to ensure smooth production
Experience in following SAS products:
SAS/Enterprise Guide
SAS/Enterprise Miner
SAS/BASE, IML, STAT, ETS
SAS/Model Management (MRM)
SAS Scoring Accelerator
SAS Code Accelerator
SAS Visual Analytics Server
Unix/Linux Shell Scripting
Required Skills/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree required
Minimum 5 years of expert level SAS programming
Minimum 5 years of experience with SAS Enterprise Guide
Experience with SAS scoring and code Accelerator is preferred
Minimum 5 years of practical experience working with large datasets with SAS and/or SQL knowledge
Practical experience working with SAS Unix shell scripting to schedule job using Cron and actively managing the entire job flow is a preferred
Experience with SAS Management Console is preferred
Work well within a team of analysts and collaborate with individuals with technical and non-technical backgrounds
