REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
The ideal candidate for the IT Sr. SAP Basis Administrator role will have demonstrated capabilities supporting the SAP Basis environment and the critical skills to find strategic solutions to continuously evolve the business.
Skilled in multiple disciplines around Configuration, Installation, Post-Installation, User Administration, Client Administration, Transport Management System (STMS), Background Job, Patches Installation, Kernel Upgrade, Spam Update, Operation Modes (RZ04), and Load Balancing (SMLG)
Have familiarity with SAP System Monitoring t-codes, such as SM50, SM66, SM51, RZ03, ST02, SM04, AL08, ST22, SM37, DB02, DB12, SM21, etc.
Experience working with SAP security platform, roles and authorization protocol
Effective communication (verbal and written) and documentation skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization up to and including executives roles.
Knowledge and interest in transactional business systems and how they interface with the business (i.e. ERP, WMS, MES, CRM, PLM)
Knowledge and interest in software engineering
Knowledge and interest in Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and Project Management Professional (PMP)
Skills in evaluation and design of interfaces between SAP and external systems, maintenance of the SAP Data Dictionary and database objects, and management of the migration of SAP database and application configuration into production.
Analyze, develop, and maintain data architectures and process models within SAP.
