Responsibilities:

· Management of Point-of-Sale, Kiosk, and other retail technology systems

o Participate in the planning and support of retail systems

o Take a lead technical role in development and implementation of retail systems

· Develop and create customized operational monitoring tools including alerts and dashboards that report on system performance and issues.

· Assess and recommend improvements to retail systems based on business and technical analysis.

· Lead retail technology implementations for new stores.

· Provide users with technical support and track issues through to resolution.

· Document system architecture, workflows and other technical work products.

· Maintain standardized documentation around workflow rules, best practices and use cases.

· Inform users and key SME’s about system functionality and enhancements.

· Work with cross-functional teams (i.e., Network, Security, Workstation, etc

· Provide on call support.



Job Requirements and Experience:

· Bachelor’s Degree in information systems.

· Dedicated and passionate IT professional with 7+ years of experience.

· 5+ years of retail experience either as a retail associate/manager, retail technologist or other related retail experience.

· 3+ years of experience with NCR’s POS Counter Point systems/applications.

· Experience designing and developing solutions.

· Experience with SQL including: insert/select/join queries, writing stored procedures and understanding database architecture.

· Experience in a formal test-driven environments (i.e., development, QA, UAT, pre-production

· Proficiency in code management and deployment using Endeavor or other advanced external toolsets.

· Exposure to ETL tools like Talend or Datastage or Informatica.

· Regularly delivers unique, innovative, and efficient solutions to business and technical problems.

· Proven ability to deliver effective, on-time results from an established set of tasks.

· Demonstrates excellent written and oral presentation skills.

· Communicates professionally and effectively and tailors to the audience.

· Experience with SQL Server.
