Job Description:
The candidate should have a background in Web Development with strong Python skills for the back-end and strong vanilla JavaScript skills for the front-end.
The environment is a little unusual, so a flexible and teachable attitude is a must.
A commitment to simplicity is also needed because there is no one in the organization that is a Web Development expert, so the more advanced technologies will not be sustainable for use here.
To that same point, great communication skills are very valuable because of the very different technical background of the candidate and their co-workers.
we are seeking a Web Developer that is proficient with Python and MySQL. Python and MySQL proficiency is mandatory.
The key technologies are: Bootstrap, Flask, Python, REST, MySQL, LDAP, HTML, JavaScript.
Nice to haves: Jenkins, JSON, XML, Bash, ClearCase
All other key technologies are ideal qualifications.
The more key technologies the candidate(s) possess the stronger fit they are for the role.
