Job Title: Sr. Project Manager

Summary of Responsibilities: Client is seeking an awesome, experienced individual to be part of its IT Global Support and Delivery Team. This rock star will play a key role in supporting IT projects delivering on key strategic objectives. You will have multiple challenging projects, so you must be a motivated team-focused problem solver.

Project Manager Job Purpose:
The Project Manager oversees the coordination and administration of all aspects of key strategic projects, including helping to define scope, planning, organizing, staffing, leading, and controlling program activities.

Project Manager Job Duties:
Accountable for delivering on key high-visibility fast-paced projects by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, leading employees, and communicating project expectations.
Takes information regarding scope and success criteria for strategic initiatives and translates them into executable plans and deliverables, associated with key objectives
Develops the program strategy, supporting business case and various enterprise-wide high-level project plans.
Ensures integration of projects and adjusts project scope, timing, and budgets as needed, based on the needs of the business.
Meets financial objectives by forecasting requirements; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
Meets financial objectives by assisting with project/program forecasting requirements; help preparing project budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
Work cooperatively and effectively with others to set goals, resolve problems, and make decisions that enhance project effectiveness.
Serves as a working member of the project team, taking on key aspects of implementation as appropriate.
Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Communicates with IT leadership, business leadership and IT Business Partners to communicate program strategy, direction and changes.
Responsible for tracking key project objectives and recommending adjustments to Leadership.

Ability to work effectively across a widely diverse management team, as well as a broad spectrum of internal partners
Integrate and use specific industry project management and technical delivery methodologies, e.g., methodologies based on Project Management Institute (PMI) or Agile

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in project management, information technology, or a related field
Seven to Ten years’ experience coordinating projects, including three years of supervisory experience
Demonstrated successful completion of both IT-focused and business-centered projects
Experience establishing and contributing to process improvements
Experience dealing with complex projects and multicultural and multidisciplinary teams
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
PMP certification or equivalent training and/or certification preferred
Detail-oriented and able to work in a very fast-paced environment and manage time effectively
Self-motivated is a MUST, need to take the lead and be a problem solver.

We need a ROCK STAR PM
This is to run the IT Service Management Program. It will include overseeing the CMDB Project and Internal Portal Redesign Project along with other ITSM related projects.
